What was different about this meeting - NOTHING... except the usual ENTHUSIASM and desire for FUN. Even the usual non-TT-participants like Lucky, volunteered as the first speaker... I am not sure whether it was the pre-Chinese New Year spirit or whether it was TTM, Rema's magic!

Give or take a minute here or there, the meeting was conducted professionally, enthusiastically! Effective role-playing...

Perhaps it was the THEME (Being Positive) or everyone was ENCOURAGED (WOD), the spirit of TEAM-WORK was evident all the way! Speakers spoke freely, knowing they will get JUST evaluations, ENCOURAGING feedback, and abundance of TIPS!

The evaluators were all ears intent on enjoying the speeches as well as being gentle but tough!

Rema's choice of topics was around the theme, with keyword : WELL-BEING.

The enthusiastic volunteers were:

Lucky
Loke
Chandran
Prem
Muhendaran

The TT Evaluator, Ranjit Singh, was sharp, as usual, encouraging, and generous with feedback.

We were all entertained by the 3 speakers, delivering their C&L manual speeches-

Huegesh (#2)
Ranjani (#5)
Syamala (#6)

Huegesh enlightened us with "Benefits of Yoga", and Ranjani's "The Near Disaster" was a drama of crash-landing; while Syamala's "You Need a System" was a guide to how to enter the share-market!

If you think a Toastmasters's meeting is going to be a boring evening, think again - you never know what benefits you will acquire from the speeches, and you never know whom you are going to run into!

At the last meeting I attended, I had the pleasure of meeting the President of a Shanghai TM Club!

The evaluators Chandran, Muhendaran & Rema Paul were thorough, precise as well as encouraging!

The evening concluded with BEST AWARDS -

BEST

TT Speaker : Muhendaran
Assignment Speaker : Ranjani
Evaluator : Muhendaran
